We divided up the work by our individual thesis interests. I worked on the environment in which the application would be based. This was created through the insertion of a 360-degree image in Unity, a virtual reality building program. Through this project, I learned about accessing codes from forums and applying them to achieve the intended outcomes. Successful designs and solutions are conceptualized from understanding the problem by empathizing with the user to explore through evaluation, ideation, prototyping, and materializing the product or service to be used. In my experience, collaboration is an important approach to gain understanding of the challenges and obstacles the end-users and stakeholders encounter in order to design solutions that meet their needs.
